This Hario series was exclusively designed in collaboration with Tetsu Kasuya, the 2016 Brewers Cup Champion. Our bundle includes the complete set for the 4:6 brewing method developed by Kasuya.
The 4:6 brewing method
With the 4:6 method developed by Tetsu Kasuya, even coarser ground coffee can be optimally extracted.
The method consists of six steps where the water is poured gradually over the coffee to extract the coffee's aromas and achieve a more balanced taste. The step-by-step addition of the water causes the coffee's acids, bitterness, and other flavors to be extracted gradually. Due to the design of the dripper, the coffee intentionally passes through the filter more slowly. This allows you to adjust the strength and develop the aroma to the fullest.
Objective taste evaluation
The neutral coloring of the Tetsu Kasuya product line allows the coffee to be tasted as objectively as possible. There is no distorting visual taste evaluation by colored containers. The perfect set for a balanced taste in harmony.
